Frequently asked questions

Useful answers for better-prepared cargo.

General guidance on freight planning, documentation, quotes and tracking. Route-specific requirements are confirmed against your shipment.

Cargo requirements

Do you handle hazardous, bonded, insured or temperature-controlled cargo?+

These capabilities are not advertised as generally available. Disclose the requirement in full; Nuxa will confirm in writing whether suitable compliant arrangements can be made.

Can you handle oversized or project cargo?+

Project cargo requests can be assessed. Dimensions, weight, lifting points, drawings, route access and site conditions are needed before specialized capability or feasibility can be confirmed.

Customs & documents

Which customs documents will I need?+

Requirements vary by goods, origin, destination, value, Incoterm and authority. Common commercial records include an invoice, packing list and transport document, but the specific checklist must be confirmed for your shipment.

Can Nuxa guarantee customs clearance timing?+

No responsible provider can guarantee an authority’s decision or timing. Nuxa coordinates documentation and process handoffs using the information available and communicates relevant progress.

Freight

How do I choose between air, sea and land logistics?+

The practical choice depends on route, shipment size, timing, budget and cargo constraints. Sea often suits larger international volumes; air can suit time-sensitive cargo; land logistics connects regional origins, gateways and destinations by road.

Can Nuxa coordinate both FCL and LCL sea freight?+

Nuxa can assess full-container and less-than-container options. Suitability and availability are confirmed against the cargo details, route and timing.

Quotes

What details should I provide for an accurate freight quote?+

Provide the origin, destination, cargo description, weight, dimensions or volume, package count, ready date, preferred mode and Incoterm if known. Photos, packing lists or invoices can be attached where appropriate.

Does submitting a quote request confirm a booking?+

No. The request receives a reference and is reviewed. A booking or service commitment is confirmed only through Nuxa Logistics’ approved written process.

Regional coverage

Does Nuxa have offices in every listed country or city?+

The website describes markets served and relevant gateways. It does not claim a physical office or branch where a verified address has not been supplied.

Can cargo move from Mombasa or Dar es Salaam to inland markets?+

Those ports connect to inland regional corridors. The practical gateway and route depend on cargo origin, destination, documents and current operational conditions, so each movement is assessed individually.

Tracking

What information does public shipment tracking show?+

Public tracking shows a Nuxa reference, shipment status, origin, destination, mode, latest milestone, update date, timeline and an estimated delivery date only when operations supplies one. It does not show private customer data.

Why does my reference return no public result?+

The reference may be incorrect, inactive, private or not yet entered. For privacy, the result stays neutral. Check the reference or contact Nuxa using the details on your shipment communication.
